Mr.Galle Eula High School Government Teacher and Sponsor of the Senior Class Veteran’s day Program. Receives a donation from Richard Marshall of the local post Veterans of Foreign Wars.. The Eula Senior classes have been celebrating our Veterans with a program each year for more than 20 years.

A great morning at #UILState for these two. Logan ran 17:55 and finished 53rd for his best time of the year. Cameron ran great also at 18:39, 85th out of over 150. The future is bright! We are so proud of their hard work! #PiratePride

The Lady Pirates opened up their season with a 37-23 victory over Blackwell. The JV Lady Pirates also won.

We had an amazing opportunity today celebrating this great country we live in by honoring our local veterans. Eula's 2020 senior class used this 75th Anniversary of World War II to recognize our veterans from that era and the sacrifices they made. Out of the 16 million Americans who served in WWII, less than 380,000 are alive today. It is estimated that around 300 WWII veterans die each day. Our Pirate Band presented a powerful presentation of patriotic music under the direction of Carl Hooper. Kindergarten, 3rd and 5th grade as well as our Elementary Leadership team performed songs and poetry to honor our special guests. Nancy Galle and Thomas Rock, both Eula graduates, honored thier fathers' Hicks Turner and Claude Rock, both WWII veterans. The crowd enjoyed memories of their fathers' experiences and heroism. Keynote speaker was Mr. Walter Nicolds, curator of the Dyess Airforce Museum. Thank you to all our veterans for your service.

Logan and Cameron are headed to State XC in Round Rock. The race is at 9:00am Saturday at Old Settlers Park. Spectator Parking information attached. Good Luck Boys! #PiratePride

The Pirate and Lady Pirate JH Basketball teams tipped off the season with wins last night. The Lady Pirate HS begins the season tonight at Blackwell. JV tips at 5:00pm, followed by the Varsity. Go Lady Pirates! #PiratePride
